About the role

This role involves creating clear, user-friendly information for an advanced video management system, focusing on new features, user interfaces, and manuals. You'll be an integral part of a 14-15 person technical writing team, collaborating closely with developers, UX designers, and product specialists to translate complex technology into a clear customer perspective.

Work tasks

This role focuses on technical writing and UX writing, creating documentation for an advanced video management platform. You will be responsible for translating complex technical information into user-friendly content for both user interfaces and comprehensive user manuals, working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Author and design accurate, consistent, and user-friendly content (instructions, microcopy, videos, and specs).
• Gather technical information from internal experts, simplifying complex concepts for users.
• Ensure documentation aligns with brand tone, plain language principles, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain best practices and guidelines with the team.
• Produce UX text for user interfaces and comprehensive user documentation.
• Work proactively, networking with developers, UX designers, and product specialists to understand complex technology.
• Manage multiple parallel projects and structured deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

We are looking for

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant for technical communication.
• 2-5 years of experience as a Technical Writer, with a focus on software documentation.
• Good knowledge of topic-based documentation and single sourcing, with hands-on experience writing technical instructions in XML-based authoring tools.
• Experience with Content Management Systems.
• Fluent English language skills.

It is meritorious if you have

• Experience with UX Copywriting or UX design.
• Good knowledge of Jira for issue management.
• Experience with DITA for information structuring.
• Experience in project management.
