You will join an experienced network team to provide support during a leave of absence. The environment is extensive and distributed, featuring a large number of switches and access points across multiple sites. This role combines operational maintenance with the further development and improvement of network solutions.

• Work in a large-scale network environment with approx. 400 switches and 2000 access points

• Operations, troubleshooting, and optimization of network infrastructure

• Design and further development of network solutions

• Manage switching (VLAN, trunking, LACP, STP)

• Configure and troubleshoot switches and access points

• Contribute to security work and robust network design

• Stable and efficient operation of the network environment

• Improvements in performance and availability

• Quality-assured network design and implementation

• Documentation and knowledge transfer to the team

Required Competencies:

• 4–8 years of experience as a Network Engineer

• Experience from large and complex network environments

• Experience in network security and design

• Strong competency in switching (VLAN, STP, LACP, trunking)

• Experience in configuring and troubleshooting switches and access points

• Relevant education or equivalent experience

• Fluent Swedish in both speech and writing

Desirable Skills:

• Cisco Catalyst Center

• WAN and dynamic routing (BGP, OSPF)

• Cisco ISE, Radius, PKI, 802.1x, TACACS+, MFA

• VPN and firewalls (Fortinet)

• VXLAN or MPLS

• DNS/DHCP (Infoblox, Bluecat, AD)

• Version control (Git, SVN)

• Script troubleshooting (Bash, Python, PowerShell)

• Independent and solution-oriented

• Structured in troubleshooting and analysis

• Collaborative in a team environment

• Responsible with high delivery quality
