AXS is a leading global provider of ticketing, data, and marketing solutions, and the preferred ticketing partner for some of the world's largest arenas in music, sports, and culture.
We are currently on an exciting journey of change and are looking for someone who can and wants to work with accounting, invoice processing, bank reconciliations, and monthly reconciliations within a team responsible for the Nordic economy. AXS operates in several markets, and you will be part of an international, fast-growing company – where your contribution drives the success of the entire group.
Ticketing is today a multifaceted and extremely fast-paced industry where you encounter new technology and digital solutions for visitors, fans, and supporters. In this role, you contribute to people experiencing magical concerts, supporting their favorite teams, or enjoying theater.
To find the right accountant, AXS collaborates with the sports- and culture-interested executive recruiter, Fredrik, at 4potentials. Although he is not musical, he has a sharp eye for both numbers and talent.
You will work in a small team at a high pace with varied tasks
In the role of Accountant, you will:
- Be responsible for ongoing bookkeeping and quality assurance together with colleagues in finance.
- Handle accounts payable, including payment files, and follow up on accounts receivable.
- Contribute to bank reconciliations and monitor incoming and outgoing payments.
- Manage receipts, expenses, and any changes to cost centers.
- Be responsible for reconciliations with a select number of customers.
- Perform reconciliations of monthly bookings, accruals, and intercompany transactions.
- Assist with monthly balance sheet reconciliations, as well as investigating and resolving discrepancies.
- Report VAT, taxes, and social security contributions.
- Work extensively in Excel and other tools to compile and analyze financial data.
- Participate in monthly and annual closing, and prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
- Support the preparation of financial reports for our global finance organization.
- Contribute to developing and streamlining financial processes and support the organization with accounting matters.
- You report to your fantastic manager, Hanna, whom you will meet at the first interview if you progress from the interview with 4potentials. Hanna is a very pleasant, team-oriented manager and colleague with great commitment to her work and to ensuring everyone thrives.
We are looking for you who can and want to work with accounting and who are extremely driven, analytical, and pleasant
- You are primarily a doer and a skilled administrator who takes ownership of your role.
- You are a cheerful, communicative, and positive team player.
- You have post-secondary education in accounting, economics, or equivalent.
- You can be relatively new to the job market or experienced. We believe you have approximately 2–4 years of experience in accounting.
- You have very good basic knowledge of Swedish accounting standards.
- Experience with closing processes or balance reconciliations is a plus.
- We work heavily in Excel, so you need excellent skills in everything from pivot tables, VLOOKUP, or similar functions.
- Experience with Oracle ERP systems is a plus. You are generally very proficient with systems and IT.
- You have analytical thinking and a structured, meticulous work approach.
- You have fluent skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. You will be interviewed by our American CFO in this process.
AXS is on an exciting journey of change with good leadership for the future
AXS offers you:
- A dynamic and international work environment.
- A fun and exciting industry.
- Opportunities for development within a global organization.
- An engaged team and an inclusive corporate culture.
- The chance to collaborate with skilled and pleasant colleagues.
- We at 4potentials can highly recommend the company and not least the opportunity to collaborate with one of the Nordic region's top leaders – AXS, CEO. You will join an engaged company with a strong corporate culture, and since the company has operations worldwide, you will be part of something bigger. You will also have the chance to meet AXS, CFO, based in Los Angeles, during this process.
If you have an active leisure time, you will appreciate AXS’s "wellness time" and contribution towards it. In addition to corporate insurance, terminal glasses, and pension, you will have the opportunity to work with fantastic colleagues.
