About the Role

As a Production Controller with us, you will step into a business where much is already in place, but where follow-up, analysis, and control need to take the next step. Reports and tools have been developed, but there is now a need for someone who can use them fully, ensure data quality, and translate figures into concrete actions in production.

A large part of your daily routine revolves around daily follow-up. You participate in morning meetings where results are compared against plans, and deviations need to be understood and handled quickly. When the numbers show red, you drive the analysis, not just in the systems, but out in the operations together with production.

The production is complex. The raw material is alive, the flows are interconnected, and small deviations can have large consequences further down the process. This requires you to understand both the details and see the big picture.

The role is new, which means that initially you will work very operationally with daily follow-up, but in the long run, you will help develop working methods, reporting, and control.

You work closely with the Plant Manager, Production Manager, and Finance, becoming an important bridge between figures and reality.

Examples of Responsibilities:

• Follow up on daily production reports and analyze deviations against plans
• Ensure that data from production, ERP, and payroll is correct and up to date
• Analyze production costs, man-hours, efficiency, and capacity utilization
• Monitor waste, spoilage, and yield, and identify areas for improvement
• Work with production orders, standard costs, and variance analyses
• Participate in morning meetings and contribute insights regarding production outcomes
• Prepare decision support and scenario calculations for management
• Improve reports and visualizations in Power BI
• Work weekly with tracking of trends, actions, and lessons learned
• Be involved in developing new working methods and control models for production

We are looking for you who

• Have experience in controlling or finance in manufacturing operations
• Understand production flows and how costs arise in reality
• Are familiar with working in Excel and preferably Power BI
• Have experience with ERP systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, SAP, Monitor, or similar
• Have preferably worked in food or other process industries
• Enjoy a role where you combine analysis with operational contact

You are a person who is not satisfied with just looking at numbers; you want to understand what lies behind them. You are curious, ask follow-up questions, and seek answers in the operations. To succeed in the role, you need to be communicative and confident in taking dialogues with production, even when it comes to challenging established working methods.
