As a Data Engineer at Columbus, you will be part of a team delivering modern Data & AI solutions to customers across various industries. Your role focuses on building scalable and modern data platforms – enabling advanced analysis for decision support.

A typical workday may involve designing and building data pipelines in Azure Data Factory, working with Data Lake architectures in Microsoft Fabric, or developing solutions on platforms like Databricks or Snowflake. You will collaborate with solution architects and business consultants to deliver valuable solutions for our customers.

We primarily work within Microsoft's technology stack, and your projects will often involve services such as Azure Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, Power BI, and more. Experience with – or curiosity about – Microsoft Fabric is highly meritorious, as many of our customers are moving in that direction.

What we hope you bring with you

• You have a couple of years of practical experience building data pipelines and managing data flows in cloud environments, preferably in Azure.
• You are accustomed to working with both structured and unstructured data and have a good understanding of modern data warehouse concepts.
• You find it easy to collaborate with both technical teams and customer representatives.

Please note that this position requires fluency in English & Swedish and requires a Swedish working VISA/Citizenship.
