About the role

As a corporate lawyer at PHM Legal, you will have a central and responsible role with a focus on the Swedish operations. The role involves both internal legal advice to the business and external advice to customers. You work closely with the business and management, handling qualified legal matters independently while collaborating closely with colleagues in the team.

The role has a clear focus on:

• Commercial contracts, such as property management, construction, and supplier agreements;
• Dispute management, including negotiation, settlement discussions, and litigation; and
• GDPR and compliance issues, including AML and whistleblowing systems.

You are part of a team of six people based in Malmö and Gothenburg, and you report to the CEO of PHM Legal.

The location for the role is flexible, and PHM has offices in several locations in Sweden, including Malmö, Helsingborg, Halmstad, Gothenburg, Växjö, Kalmar, Uppsala, Karlstad, Stockholm, Upplands Väsby, Västerås, Eskilstuna, Linköping, Norrköping, and Örnsköldsvik. The role also offers good opportunities for hybrid work.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are an experienced and confident corporate lawyer who thrives in an independent role with great responsibility. You have a good understanding of how law and business interact and are accustomed to working close to the operations with pragmatic and feasible solutions.

You have:

• A Swedish law degree and at least approximately 8 years of relevant experience
• Very good competence in commercial contract law
• Experience with GDPR and working with compliance in some form
• Some litigation experience, for example from general courts, administrative courts, or rent tribunals

It is meritorious, but not a requirement, if you have experience in construction law or construction disputes.

As a person, you are responsible, structured, and quality-conscious. You have the ability to drive cases independently from start to finish while being communicative and team-oriented. You thrive in an environment where conditions and routines are partly shaped over time and where your skills truly make a difference.

About the business

We were previously known as Bredablick's legal department. PHM Legal functions as a legal partner to the business, with both internal legal assignments and external advice.
