The Company

Sematic was founded in 2013 and is headquartered in Linköping. The company develops advanced software focused on facilitating staff scheduling at large hospitals. This includes user-friendly interfaces and a high degree of automation in the form of advanced algorithms containing automated optimization functions and self-learning methods.

The idea was born and developed in direct collaboration with end-users, which has contributed to solutions that address the core of healthcare scheduling problems. Today, the tool is market-leading and competes with solutions from established software giants. Among the customers are now many regions and hospitals, all of which have signed multi-year contracts.

Sematic has grown steadily to meet customer demand. Last year, the workplace was expanded by moving to new office premises in Linköping, and now it is time for further talents to become part of the competent and driven team.

Responsibilities

As a System Expert at Sematic, you have a broad and varied role centered around meeting customer needs in their handling of staffing planning and scheduling. You do this by listening to and understanding what type of operations they conduct and how this is best set up in the tools we provide. It is about finding the right puzzle pieces for customers in our tools so that they can further derive maximum benefit to solve their tasks in resource allocation.

In addition, you will be involved in collecting and conveying feedback and insights from customers that can be built into the solutions we deliver, by participating in testing and evaluating new functionality. As an employee, you collaborate with other team members with the aim of achieving the best solutions and developing within the company. The work is independent, and you have the opportunity to develop in new challenges through extensive feedback.

Furthermore, you and other employees provide technical support to end-users.
