Do you have a background in operational railway maintenance and possess analytical skills? Do you want to work data-driven close to the operations and contribute to smarter investments and more efficient maintenance? We are now looking for an Operational Analyst who, through analysis, structure, and commitment, wants to help develop our asset and maintenance work.

In the role of Operational Analyst, you continuously analyze vehicle and maintenance data to identify areas for development related to investment decisions and changed maintenance strategies. The purpose of the role is to create the right decision support at the right time, thereby enabling the organization to take the right action at the right moment. The role requires you to filter through large amounts of data and analyze the relevant data, which places high demands on your knowledge of railway maintenance.

You produce analyses and reports used in improvement and development work and lead the analysis work in close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities

As an Operational Analyst, you will among other things:

• Continuously analyze vehicle data (RVM) and monitor the condition of subsystems
• Continuously analyze maintenance data to follow up on the effect of implemented measures
• Produce reports that identify deficiencies, provide proactive improvement suggestions, and follow up on these
• Lead and coordinate analysis work in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
• Contribute to asset management work through analyses and reports related to various subsystems

Competency Requirements

Education

• University degree in engineering or equivalent experience from a technical and production-oriented environment

Experience and Skills

• At least 3 years of experience working within railway maintenance
• Very strong analytical skills and a systematic approach to problem-solving
• Good experience in independently producing, analyzing, and presenting decision support
