Sofielunds Café is a newly opened café in Enskededalen. We are at the beginning of our journey and building the business from the ground up. Here, you will have the opportunity to influence, develop, and shape both work methods and customer experience. We are now looking for a barista/café assistant who wants to create something long-term with us.

You will work in a small team where collaboration is important, but you will also have significant personal responsibility in the daily work.

Your responsibilities:

• Prepare coffee and other drinks for our guests.
• Take orders and work at the cash register.
• Prepare simple serving items and keep the café clean and welcoming.
• Handle purchases and ensure that goods are available.

You are responsible for providing every customer with a good welcome and a positive experience. You ensure that work flows smoothly during your shift and that routines are followed regarding the cash register, orders, and service. You keep to schedules, take responsibility for your tasks, and contribute to the café running smoothly even during busy periods.

Desired profile:

• At least 2 years of experience in a café or restaurant.
• Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written.
• Experience with cash handling.

• Is service-oriented; as you meet customers every day and are an important part of their experience.
• Is stress-resistant; as the pace can be high and you need to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Is solution-oriented; as unexpected situations may arise requiring quick decisions.
• Is goal-driven; as you are expected to take responsibility and contribute to the development of the business.

Merits:

• Have a B driver's license and your own car.
• Have experience with baking.

Other details:

Start: Immediately. Working hours: Monday–Friday 06:45–18:00 and weekends 09:00–18:00. Location: Enskededalen. Employment type: Full-time with a 6-month probation period.
