About the job
We are looking for you who like food, people, and sales and want to become part of our wonderful team at Willys Eskilstuna Smeden! The role essentially means that you contribute to our customers being able to buy good and sustainable food at really good prices.
Employment type: Permanent, full-time. Probation period applies.
Start date: 2026-06-01 or as agreed.
Working hours: You will vary between working early mornings, daytime, evenings, and weekends.
Requirements: Upper secondary education, good knowledge of Swedish (spoken and written). We welcome applicants of all ages, but with reference to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations AFS 2023:2 chapter 8 and appendix 2, we do not hire persons under 18 years of age due to the nature of the tasks. You need to have previous experience from leadership roles, preferably within retail.
Here is a bit more about the role:
- You are part of the store's management team, with the store manager as your direct supervisor, and you lead and plan the operations for the Colonial team. Of course, you actively participate in the daily operational store work.
- You work with a clear focus on developing the store's sales, profitability, and other key performance indicators. You also participate in developing and following up on the store's business plan.
- As Team Leader Colonial, you are responsible for a very important part of the store's product flow. Your team is responsible for sales planning, placing orders, and ensuring the store is sales-oriented and seasonally relevant.
- You have personnel responsibility for the employees in your team and are thus responsible for recruitment, scheduling, and onboarding, among other things.
- You lead, motivate, and develop your team and contribute to employees developing and performing to their full potential.
- You are a role model in meeting our customers with knowledge, attention to detail, and a big smile.

About you

- You are good at communicating and can develop your team and store through feedback and coaching.
- You need to have previous experience from leadership roles in a service profession, and it is a clear advantage if you have experience from the grocery retail industry.
