Responsibilities

In the role of Tester, you work with driving testing activities in both projects and operations, typically in connection with the delivery of new functionality or bug fixes. A major focus lies on the execution of functional tests within the systems. You document tests via our testing tools, including test cases, bugs, and compile test progress continuously.

We prefer that you, as a tester, are accustomed to working in an Agile context, such as within SAFe, where you primarily are responsible for ensuring that test cases and the execution of tests align with the test strategy and test plan. We welcome that you want to work hands-on with testing and that you have good ability to work on developing our functional test automation. You will primarily work in a support function to the development in the "train" to support the test phases System Test, System Integration Test (SIT), and Acceptance Test, with a focus on regressions for E2E flows.

The assignment includes the following tasks:

• Support the development team and the business in executing tests.
• Work on improving and developing testing methods within operations and projects.
• Operationally ensure that testing responds to strategy and test plan.
• Work on building and developing test automation and frameworks.
• Ensure the execution of system and system integration tests.
• Work with testing in an Agile context.
• Work with testing in traditional IT delivery.
• Handle functional tests.
• Coordinate testing with both IT and the business.
• Handle and coordinate bug fixes.
• Document tests in our testing tools JIRA and/or Azure DevOps.
• Work with testing within operations.
• Work as Tech Lead within the test and quality team.
• Work with the following technology/tools: Cypress, Robot Framework, OpenShift, Playwright, TypeScript, AKHQ, GitLab, Artifactory, CI/CD tools such as ArgoCD.

Mandatory Requirements / Competency Requirements

• Does the consultant have upper secondary or higher education in computer science, electronics, or equivalent experience/education within IT?
• Does the consultant have at least 7 years of documented experience as a tester within system testing, system integration testing, and acceptance testing, including both backend and frontend?
• Does the consultant have at least 1 year of work experience within the energy sector and knowledge of its actors?
• Does the consultant have at least 7 years of experience developing test frameworks and automated tests with Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent?
• Does the consultant have at least 1.5 years of experience as a tester in systems with high demands on availability, operational reliability, and real-time functionality within critical infrastructure (e.g., electricity transmission systems or energy systems)?
• Does the consultant have good ability to express themselves verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English?
• Does the consultant have at least 5 years of experience with DevOps frameworks such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab Runner?

Value-Added Requirements

• Does the consultant have at least 1 year of experience testing systems that handle electricity grid balancing?
• Does the consultant have at least 7 years of experience programming in Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or C#?
• Does the consultant have at least 7 years of work experience with methods/tools such as SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban?
