Welcome to the business area of Psychiatry, Rehabilitation, and Habilitation! Our mission is to offer all residents of Kronoberg County specialized psychiatric care, rehabilitation, and habilitation. Care is provided in collaboration with other actors within and outside Region Kronoberg, with a cohesive care chain and patient participation in focus. We want to create good conditions for our patients to receive the right care and treatment with the best possible competence.

2 Positions Available

Job Responsibilities

As a nurse at the psychiatric clinic, you will have an exciting and varied job. We work in teams, and our work takes place either at the clinic or in the patient's home. In your role as a nurse, you will be responsible for maintaining continuous contact and coordinating the interventions the patient needs. A large part of your work involves assessments and conversations with patients and their relatives.

We work extensively to motivate our patients towards a healthy lifestyle and conduct courses for our patients based on the recommendations of care pathways. This includes IMR, Mindfulness, NADA, psycho-pedagogical education, NECT, etc. Contact and collaboration with the patient's relatives, family, municipality, workplace/school, and the Swedish Social Insurance Agency is a significant part of the treatment work. We have an injection clinic for our patients every week, staffed by at least two nurses.

Working hours are daytime, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with a strong interest and preferably professional experience with patients with psychotic illnesses. You need to be comfortable working independently, confident in making your own decisions, driving the patient's care process, and committed to developing care work to meet the patient's treatment and nursing needs.

You are a team player who contributes competence to the work around the patient and has a strong commitment to your work. Furthermore, you value good cooperation with your colleagues and contribute to a good work climate. As a person, you are proactive and skilled at creating and maintaining good contacts with our collaboration partners, but also flexible and quick to adapt to current situations. You enjoy having a day that is content-rich and varied.

Great importance is attached to personal suitability. A B-driver's license is required.
