About the position

We are currently seeking two personal assistants for a man living outside Perstorp. He is a cheerful and thoughtful man who loves animals and spending time with his family or friends. He owns horses and often looks after his children's dogs. They live in the countryside, which means public transport is not an option. Therefore, it is important that you have access to your own car or can commute to the workplace in another way. As an assistant, you will help with personal care, accompany on daily activities and excursions, support family activities, and assist with animal care (horses and dogs).

We are looking for someone who can work part-time at approximately 60%. Your duties will include supporting with daily routines, heavy lifting, personal hygiene, meals, and dressing/undressing.

Working hours vary but are scheduled as follows:

• 08:00 - 22:00
• 08:00 - 16:00
• 22:00 - 08:00 (on-call 8h)

Given that working hours cover all hours of the day, you should be positive about working at any time of day or night.

About you

As a personal assistant with us, you play a crucial role in creating a safe and meaningful everyday life for our client. You will be an important part of their life and contribute to their independence and well-being.

We believe that you, as an applicant for this position, are a calm person who is sensitive, responsible, flexible, and cooperative. Since there are animals in the home, you should also like animals. The most important factor is the personal chemistry between you as the applicant and the client. This may be decisive in the final selection.

Requirements include:

• Healthcare experience or equivalent
• No allergy to fur-bearing animals
• Driver's license and access to a car for commuting to work

Scope: 2 part-time positions, approx. 60%. Number of positions: 2. Start date: By agreement. Selection and interviews are conducted continuously, and the position will be filled as soon as possible. Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with collective agreements.

Upon employment To be employed by us at Nordström Assistans, you need to have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the service. A certificate of no criminal record can be easily downloaded from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. Due to the fact that the position may involve solo work, night work, and tasks that, according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2012:3), cannot be performed by minors, you must be at least 18 years old to work as a personal assistant with us.

If you are to work with this client, you must present an extract from the criminal record register. From March 1, 2026, new regulations will apply, meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record register and extracts from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so the order should be placed well in advance.
