We are now looking for an engaged and caring personal assistant for a man in a wheelchair just outside Borås. As an assistant, you will be an important part of the customer's daily life and provide support in various areas.

In this role, you will assist the customer with personal hygiene, meals, other daily activities, as well as help answer the phone and handle communication with external parties. You will be the customer's extended arms and legs, and your presence will make a real difference in his life. Just as important as stepping in when needed is having respect and understanding when you need to step back and let the customer have time for himself or with his family.

Experience and Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a personal assistant or within healthcare is advantageous.
• Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully.
• Empathetic and patient, with the ability to listen and be supportive.
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to the customer's needs and wishes.
• Ability to handle lifting.

Personal Attributes

We are looking for you who are empathetic, sensitive, and have the ability to create a safe and trusting relationship with the customer. You are meticulous and reliable, and have the ability to work independently and take initiative when needed. It is important that you are compliant and respectful towards the customer's integrity and wishes. You have no issues with shoulders or back as some heavy lifting occurs in the work.

Driver's license and own car are required as it is not possible to get to the customer using public transport.

The position is 50% and there is a chance to work extra shifts beyond this. Working hours are scheduled between 07:00–15:00 and 15:00–23:00, Monday–Sunday.
