IES Johanneberg is now looking for a qualified teacher in German for grades 6-9 with a Swedish teaching license for 40%, starting in the autumn term of 2026.

Job Description

You will be part of a work team consisting of special education teachers, special needs teachers, and subject teachers. You will need to work in teams around specific students but also independently when required.

We are looking for someone who wants to make a difference for students in their lifelong learning. Our operations are characterized by a positive outlook, and we have strong confidence in the students' abilities. A strong value base and a positive view of students are very important to us. Together with your colleagues, you work to create a safe, structured, developmental, and stimulating learning environment for the students. You work in teams with teaching colleagues and support pedagogues. Our mission is to jointly lead and support students in their social and knowledge development. In the team, the pedagogues help each other with planning, teaching, and the students' school day. Mentoring a class is included in the position.

Who are you?

You have clear pedagogical insight and the ability to implement the goals of the curriculum in your work. You have clear leadership skills and stand strong in your student groups. You are flexible, structured, and well-prepared. You are a present and action-researching pedagogue who challenges and stimulates students to develop. A strong belief in collaboration as a success factor for pedagogical development is a given for you. You have direct and humble communication with guardians and create trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.

You should be positive and cooperative and prepared to join an international team.

In your role, you teach in Swedish, but between colleagues, we mainly speak English, but also Swedish. This means you need to master both languages fluently, both in speech and writing.
