Cape East is one of 6 hotels within the Pite Havsbad Group hotel group, which is Northern Sweden's largest tourism and conference group with operations in Haparanda, Luleå, Piteå, Hemavan, and Arvidsjaur. Cape East is open year-round with a hotel, spa, restaurant, conference facilities, camping, etc. Cape East was named Spa of the Year in 2011, a title we now intend to reclaim!

In the reception, all matters for both the hotel and spa department are handled. Some of the tasks, in addition to guest service, are check-in and check-out, receiving bookings, cash handling, upselling, etc. As a receptionist, you are the guest's first impression of the hotel and will have a significant impact on the perceived service for the guest. A large part of the job is having a natural sense for service and quality and making the hotel's guests feel welcome.

We are currently looking for a couple of receptionists to join our team. Working hours are scheduled shift work according to the hotel's needs, morning, evening, and weekend shifts. The position is 75%.

You should have the ability to handle many tasks simultaneously and be able to prioritize. We want you, as an applicant for the position, to be a social and solution-oriented person who enjoys contributing to upselling. You should enjoy working in a team but also be able to work individually. You must be able to speak and read Swedish fluently, as well as have good knowledge of English. It is also an advantage if you speak Finnish. It is an advantage if you have previous experience in the hotel and restaurant industry and possess good computer skills. We will place the greatest emphasis on your personal qualities.
