NOFO Hotel & Wine Bar is a family-owned hotel located in the most vibrant part of Södermalm. We are passionate about design and service – the latter would not be possible without our wonderful staff. Our wine bar focuses on serving unique and carefully selected wines from small-scale producers, local beers, and innovative cuisine made with love for locally sourced and seasonal ingredients.

In the wine bar, as well as in all other parts of the hotel, we always strive to go the extra mile to make our guests feel special.

WHAT IS YOUR ROLE?

As a Sommelier, you are responsible for our beverage assortment and work actively to develop it and follow new trends. Our goal is to be at the top of relevant lists and awards in the Stockholm restaurant scene – recently, we were nominated for the Star Wine List and won the "Best Wine Bar" award from the Hotel Culinary Awards.

You work cost-effectively and are responsible for ensuring that gross profits meet set targets. You will become the restaurant manager's right hand and are expected to take significant responsibility for operations, both towards colleagues and guests.

In your role, you are expected to take responsibility for the following tasks:

• Ordering, inventory, and profitability monitoring
• Assortment development
• Handling daily booking requests
• Supporting remaining colleagues during operations
• Organizing wine tastings
• Developing your colleagues' wine knowledge

PERSONAL PROFILE

We are looking for you who have a passion for wine, food, and service. You are self-reliant and confident in yourself. You have a positive attitude, are accommodating to guests and colleagues while delivering high-quality service. You are driven and accustomed to taking personal responsibility. You handle stressful situations with a smile.

Previous experience in the restaurant industry is a requirement. You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

THE POSITION

Position: 100% – permanent employment with a 6-month probation period.

Start date: As soon as possible.
