Linden Foundation operates LSS (Support and Service Act for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) activities where we offer housing and day activities for individuals with an autism diagnosis. Our approach is centered on a strong individual focus, ensuring that each tenant's unique needs are met. We achieve this through a clear guiding philosophy and an empathetic, low-arousal approach, giving every individual the opportunity to develop at their own pace and according to their abilities.

Our operations are located in Vingåker and outside Katrineholm in Södermanland. As our facilities are situated in rural areas, a valid driver's license and access to a personal car are required.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is calm, positive, stress-resistant, independent, and structured. You follow established routines and have a genuine interest in working with people who think and act differently from the norm. Humility towards new situations, a willingness to learn, and computer literacy (as all documentation is digital) are desirable. Previous experience as a personal assistant or knowledge of autism is an advantage but not a requirement.

Conditions and Compensation

The position involves working between 25 and 35 hours per week. We apply a monthly salary even for summer temporary positions, with a workload of 85–100%. As part of the collective agreement, an extra summer supplement of 27 SEK per hour is paid in addition to the hourly wage, holiday pay, and contractual OB (unsocial hours) and on-call allowances. This averages out to approximately 1,000 SEK extra per week when working full-time. To qualify for this supplement, you must work the entire summer period, and the payment is made for a maximum of 12 weeks.

Your Responsibilities

Working as treatment staff at Linden Foundation means working to enhance the individual's ability for personal development and increased self-determination. Together with the tenant, you perform household tasks common in a home and ensure that the resident receives the care their needs dictate. You adhere to established routines within set timeframes.

The role may include on-call duties with sleeping shifts. This means you are allowed to sleep during part of your shift but must be ready to wake up if the tenant needs assistance. The remaining working hours are during the day, evening, and weekends.

You contribute to a positive work climate through your attitude, empathy, service-mindedness, and professional interaction with tenants, relatives, guardians, and colleagues.
