We are looking for an engaged primary school teacher for a temporary position in grades 4–6.

This is a role for you who wants to be a homeroom teacher and have overall responsibility for the students' learning, relationships, and development in everyday life.

Your responsibilities

As a homeroom teacher in grades 4–6, you are responsible for teaching in most subjects, excluding physical education, music, crafts, and home and consumer studies. You plan, conduct, and follow up on teaching based on the national curriculum and create a learning environment that gives students good opportunities to succeed.

You will become an important part of a work team where collaboration, structure, and shared responsibility are central.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who:

• is a certified primary school teacher with eligibility for grades 4–6
• has good ability to lead teaching and create a calm learning environment
• works in a structured and clear manner with student learning as the focus
• builds good relationships with students and creates security in the classroom
• collaborates well with colleagues and contributes to the whole in the work team

Experience teaching at the intermediate level is an advantage, but the right attitude and relational competence are equally important.

About the position

• Temporary position: August 12 – December 18
• Employment level: Full-time
• Possibility of extension
