About the Role

We are now looking for an Electrical Engineer who wants to join our development team within our Power business area in Älmhult. The team consists of mechanical, electrical, and electronic engineers, software developers, as well as system, ILS, test, and verification engineers. You will have a central and important role in the organization, working closely with production alongside your colleagues.

In this role, you will work with the team to break down contract and requirement specifications from customers to develop future technical solutions for both the Swedish and international defense sectors.

Your responsibilities will include, among other things:

• Develop electrical designs for complex systems, e.g., power plants and simulation systems
• Create electrical schematics in EPLAN
• Select components and perform dimensioning
• Design control cabinets and other peripheral equipment
• Calibration and testing
• PLC programming

Additionally, you will work with risk analysis related to electrical and machine safety, as well as the automation of control equipment. The role also involves designing and developing functions and ensuring the operation of automated processes.

Who We Are Looking For

To succeed in the role, we would like you to have:

• A university degree in electrical engineering or automation
• A few years of practical work experience in electrical design, including component selection and calculations
• Experience working in a requirement-setting role
• Good knowledge of EPLAN
• Fluent proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Merits:

• Knowledge of EN 81346
• Experience working in power supply or backup power generation
• Experience in high voltage, automation, or control systems
