Welcome to the business area of Psychiatry, Rehabilitation, and Habilitation. The mission is to provide the inhabitants of Kronoberg County with access to specialized psychiatric care as well as rehabilitation and habilitation. The work is carried out in close cooperation with other operations both within and outside Region Kronoberg, with a focus on integrated care and the patient's active participation. Our ambition is to create good conditions for every patient to receive the right care and treatment through high competence and good quality. The operations are conducted in modern and airy premises located in a nature-friendly environment, with access to a staff gym.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a physician with us, you will have a key role in a well-functioning team within the pain and rehabilitation area. You are responsible for medical assessments and treatment of patients with long-term pain conditions and participate in multimodal team assessments within MMR together with our other professions. The work includes both individual patient contacts and joint efforts where we clearly coordinate our interventions.

We support each other in both patient work and administrative processes. We handle complex cases together, for example at network meetings and coordinated planning, so that no one has to stand alone. The assignment also includes patient education and group interventions, and if necessary, we conduct team visits to create clarity, security, and a common direction for the patient.

We work from a biopsychosocial perspective and strive for a deep understanding of each patient's situation to plan interventions that are relevant and sustainable. Collaboration with other healthcare units and R&D is a natural part of the work. The culture is curious, warm, and development-oriented, and it is easy to join the group and quickly feel at home.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed physician in Sweden, whether you are a specialist, in the middle of your specialist training (ST), or about to start it. You may have specialist education in pain medicine, rehabilitation medicine, general practice, anesthesiology, psychiatry, or another relevant specialty. Experience with, or a particular interest in, rehabilitation, psychiatry, and chronic pain is meritorious. We primarily value that you have a genuine interest in the patient group; for the areas of competence you do not yet master, we ensure you have the opportunity to develop with us.

For you who are a specialist trainee (ST-läkare), regardless of where you are in your education, we appreciate a clear interest in pain, rehabilitation medicine, and/or psychiatry. We ensure that necessary supervision is available, if necessary also in collaboration with other units or clinics.

You have good communication skills, good knowledge of Swedish, and thrive in teams where you contribute with a professional and empathetic approach.

We are open to dialogue about combining the position with us with another ongoing employment, if it is a solution that works for both you and the operation. We also prefer that you work primarily on-site, but there is an opportunity for some remote work if agreed upon and if it works for the operation.
