About the Role

As a Sales Specialist for Firefighting Equipment at Dafo Brand, you will have a central and long-term role in a market-leading company with a clear societal mission. You will be responsible for sales within a geographical district in northern Sweden and work closely with customers who have high demands for quality, functionality, and reliability.

The role is clearly relationship-driven and combines recurring business with larger, more complex deals over time. You will work with a very broad and technically advanced product range and focus heavily on understanding customers' daily lives and needs to offer the right solutions.

You will become part of an experienced and competent sales team with strong product knowledge and close collaboration, where expertise is shared and common goals are pursued. There is a strong sense of community and team spirit here, where colleagues enjoy meeting and collaborating in person when possible.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage and develop long-term customer relationships (Key Account Management)
  • Identify and drive new business opportunities in both the public and private sectors
  • Work with upselling and cross-selling within a very broad product range
  • Handle orders, follow-ups, and internal collaborations
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations
  • Participate in trade fairs, customer meetings, and industry events
  • Collaborate with close colleagues in other product and competence areas

The role involves significant business responsibility, covering both many recurring smaller deals and individual larger deals with high order values, which requires structure, business acumen, and good prioritization skills. And much more.

Travel is a natural part of the role and primarily takes place in connection with customer visits, industry events, and trade fairs in the district. We prefer that you base yourself from Stockholm/Tyresö to be an active part of the daily life and community at the office, but we are also open to candidates residing in other locations, primarily from Gävle and northwards. The role reports to the Business Area Manager for Firefighting Equipment.

Is this you?

To succeed in the role, we see that you have several years of experience in technical B2B sales and are confident in working with long-term customer relationships. You have previously worked in an environment where demands, quality, and structure are central – and you enjoy representing a strong, professional, and reliable offering.

A crucial driving force in the role is the interest in the products and their real-world function. You are motivated not just by sales itself, but by working with products that make a real difference – products that protect firefighters, contribute to saving lives, and enable safer work in hazardous situations. You want to understand how the equipment is used, why it works, and what difference it makes to those who depend on it in critical situations.

You are comfortable in a role where the focus is on managing, developing, and deepening existing business, while also having the ability to identify new business opportunities as they arise. Working with a broad and technical range is seen as stimulating rather than limiting – and you are driven by the ability to offer the right solution rather than the fastest deal.

As a person, you are relationship-building and business-confident, with a humble attitude towards both customers and colleagues. You thrive in collaboration with experienced people and appreciate being part of a team where pride in the products, professional knowledge, and shared responsibility go hand in hand with business focus and drive for performance. Experience from rescue services, fire protection, or related industries is meritorious, as is experience with public procurement.
