Finance Assistant for Fast-Growing John Henric

About the Role
Over the last few years, John Henric has grown into an international men's fashion company. We sell directly to customers through our own stores across Europe as well as via global e-commerce. This means a business with high volumes and many daily transactions.
At our headquarters in Hyllie, Malmö, we manage the entire group. As a Finance Assistant, you will become an important part of the finance department, working closely with engaged, non-hierarchical, and driven colleagues. This role suits you if you have 1–3 years of experience in finance and wish to continue developing within ongoing financial operations in a fast-changing retail environment.
The tasks are relatively straightforward and structured – but require you to work independently, carefully, and efficiently in our systems.
Responsibilities
You will primarily work with:
- Supplier and customer accounts
- Scanning and arrival registration
- Incoming and outgoing payments
- Reconciliations
- Ongoing bookkeeping
- Other administrative tasks within the finance department
In a business that sells directly to consumers (B2C), we handle large volumes of transactions daily. This requires structure, pace, and the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with and work efficiently in our systems.

Profile
To succeed in the role, we see that you:
- Have 1–3 years of experience in similar tasks
- Have post-secondary education in finance/economics
- Have good skills in Excel
- Have experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (preferred)
- Fluently speak and write Swedish and English
- Have a general interest in IT and business systems

You understand the importance of meeting deadlines and thrive in a role where it is clear what needs to be done – but where you drive the work forward. Experience working in retail/e-commerce or with high transaction volumes is a plus.
Other Information
The position is a permanent full-time role. Desired start date is as soon as possible. We apply a 6-month probation period. The location is at our headquarters in the newly built "The Corner" in Hyllie, Malmö, a minute's walk from Hyllie Station.
