Do you want to work at the intersection of business operations and IT in an environment with high change velocity? We are now looking for a Senior System and Business Specialist for a business where systems, flows, and commerce are closely intertwined, and where you will play a central role in creating structure, efficiency, and quality.

About the role

As a System and Business Specialist, you will step into a business where both working methods and structure are under development. The role involves clear ownership of how systems and processes interact, with responsibility for driving improvements and ensuring efficient system support for the business. You will work closely with operational activities and are expected to both support daily inquiries and drive development initiatives forward. The role requires high visibility within the business and the ability to translate needs into concrete solutions.

Your responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the interaction between business processes and systems
• Work operationally with and configure WMS systems to ensure efficient flows
• Translate business needs into requirements and solutions
• Define requirements and drive dialogue with developers and external suppliers
• Drive improvement work and change initiatives
• Create structure in working methods, prioritization, and case management
• Support the business with operational and tactical questions related to systems
• Contribute to developing collaboration between IT and the business

Your profile

We are looking for someone who is confident in taking responsibility and driving work forward. Experience is required from a business-close role at the intersection of IT and operations, where structure has been built in environments that were not fully developed. A good understanding of logistics flows and how systems support the business in practice is central. The work is characterized by proximity to operational activities, combined with the ability to look ahead and drive development on a more long-term plan.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience from logistics, warehousing, or 3PL
• Extensive experience with WMS systems
• Experience working at the intersection of business and IT
• Experience defining requirements for developers or suppliers
• Experience driving change, implementation, or improvement work

Experience with Astro is highly valued in this role, and experience with implementation projects or work in complex system environments is also strongly meritorious.
