The Opportunity

We are currently looking for a Warehouse and Material Handler for our business unit within Hitachi Energy in Ludvika, comprising the Surge Arresters and Capacitors divisions. At the Surge Arresters unit in Ludvika, we produce and sell surge arresters. New products are developed here, and our markets are located both in Sweden and other parts of the world. An arrester protects against overvoltage and is an essential part of a reliable and energy-efficient power system. At the Capacitors unit, we assemble customer-specific medium and high-voltage capacitors for reactive power compensation and harmonic filtering, as well as manufacture DC capacitors for HVDC applications worldwide.

As we are in an expansion phase and increasing our production, we are looking for a Warehouse and Material Handler to join our team at Capacitors. As a Warehouse and Material Handler, you will be responsible for, among other things, goods receipt and the handling of materials from the warehouse to production.

To succeed in this role, you should be meticulous and structured, and thrive working both independently and in a team. Here, you will enjoy a fun and energetic job with many interactions in your daily work.

The role is based in Ludvika and is shift-based.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • You are responsible for receiving goods, registration, and control of incoming materials.
  • Your tasks also include warehouse management, such as order picking, inventory, handling materials, and replenishment to various production departments.
  • The work also involves driving counterbalance forklifts and reach trucks.
  • You share Hitachi Energy’s core values regarding safety and integrity, meaning you take responsibility for your own actions while also feeling responsible for your colleagues and the business.

Your Background

  • You hold a forklift license for counterbalance forklifts and reach trucks.
  • We see you as a structured and flexible person who takes significant personal responsibility.
  • You have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • You are available to work shifts.
  • Previous experience with forklift driving and warehouse work is considered an asset.
  • Experience with the SAP business system is also considered an asset.

You are a meticulous person with a structured approach to work, ensuring order and tidiness in your surroundings. You work systematically, are proactive, and have a strong desire to develop. You are communicative and thrive working both independently and in a team.
