About the role

As a Project Controller, you will have a key role in the business where you act as the link between finance and projects. You work closely with project managers, managers, and consultants to ensure that projects are monitored in a correct and business-like manner.

The role involves significant personal responsibility where you drive the work forward, monitor figures, and ensure that the correct documentation is in place for invoicing and follow-up. You work both operationally and analytically – from handling details in timesheet reporting and project data to analyzing profitability and contributing insights to the business.

You will have a central function in creating structure and quality in processes related to project monitoring, and you are also expected to contribute to improvements and efficiencies in the area. In the role, you have many contact points and need to be comfortable holding dialogues, setting requirements, and following up to ensure deadlines are met.

You will become part of a team, but work largely independently within your area of responsibility. This suits you who enjoy taking ownership, are confident in your competence, and like having a role where you can influence and make a difference in the daily work.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for invoicing within the consulting business.
• Continuously work with forecasts and project follow-up.
• Analyze ongoing projects (costs, revenues, profitability).
• Handle and monitor work in progress (WIP).
• Ensure quality in timesheet reporting and project data.
• Support managers with economic analyses and decision-making materials.
• Participate in improvement work regarding processes, systems, and working methods.
• Work with internal and intercompany invoicing.

We are looking for someone who has

• Experience working in finance, for example as an accountant or controller.
• Understanding of project monitoring, invoicing, and financial flows.
• Good system proficiency (ERP systems, Excel, etc.).
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is meritorious if you have

• Experience in project controlling or consulting business.
• Experience with forecasting and analysis.
• Experience working as a superuser or with system improvements.

Other information

• Location: Helsingborg
• Duration: Immediate until end of September, with some possibility of extension.
• Scope: Full-time
• Remote work: Possibility of up to 50% remote work after introduction (minimum 2 days/week on-site).
• Working hours: Office hours with some flexibility.
