Psychiatry, Habilitation, and Assistive Devices has an important and challenging mission. We offer the population of Skåne a consolidated specialist psychiatric care provision within adult psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, youth clinics, and forensic psychiatry, as well as habilitation for children, adolescents, and adults with permanent disabilities, vision and hearing rehabilitation, and assistive device services. The administration has approximately 4,500 employees within a range of different competence areas, and we are located in several municipalities throughout Skåne.

The Digitalization Unit is part of the administration management and staff. We work across the administration to support and drive business development and projects. Here, you will become part of an engaged team with a strong focus on improvement work, collaboration, and sustainable working methods.

We are in a phase of development where governance and responsibilities are clarified according to a new regional model, with increased focus on region-wide working methods, operation-oriented development, needs-based management, and administration of operation services. Our existing systems will continue to be developed and improved in close collaboration with operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you work both strategically and operationally with the development of healthcare information systems and associated operation services. You have a special responsibility to capture, analyze, and translate the operation's needs into development that creates value in everyday life. The role involves close collaboration with operations, regional functions, and the Administration Digitalization IT and MT.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

  • representing the operation in regional forums related to healthcare information systems and digital services
  • driving and coordinating business development related to existing systems and new functions
  • working with needs analysis, requirement setting, and prioritization according to established processes and governance models
  • leading networks and collaboration with the operation's contact persons and key roles
  • supporting the implementation and development of region-wide working methods related to operation processes
  • producing decision support materials, analyses, educational materials, and communication efforts
  • contributing to work on information security, data protection, continuity, and risk management

The role involves less focus on traditional system administration and instead a greater focus on business development, change management, and value realization.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with education in healthcare, healthcare administration, business development, or other education/experience that the employer deems relevant for the position. Furthermore, you need to have experience of working within healthcare, clinically or administratively. Additionally, you have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing. A combination of care experience and education in development/digitalization is particularly meritorious.

Additionally, it is meritorious if you have experience of:

  • working with healthcare information systems, such as Melior/PMO, the Certificate Module, digital dictation
  • working with business development in a larger organization
  • working according to administration or needs-based models
  • process and/or project work, change management, or implementation
  • working methods within psychiatry, habilitation, and/or youth clinics

As a person, you have a holistic perspective and the ability to see both the operation's needs and the possibilities with digital solutions. Additionally, you are driving and structured, communicative, and pedagogical. You are curious and development-oriented, and good at creating collaboration and engagement. Within the administration, there is also vision, hearing, and deaf services, and the youth clinics in Skåne.
