We are currently looking for a Personal Assistant for a lovely 7-year-old boy with autism and epilepsy who lives south of Stockholm. He needs support in his daily life to develop and thrive. We are looking for you who have a big heart, positive energy, and a desire to make a difference. We are looking for someone who is self-assured, can handle stressful situations, and act quickly. You need to be focused, attentive, and have good reaction skills.

About the role:
As a personal assistant, you will be a support and a source of security for the boy in his daily life. Your tasks will include, among other things:

• Playing with and activating him in ways that stimulate and develop his abilities.
• Working on training various routines, such as creating structure and promoting communication.
• Encouraging and supporting him in activities.
• Working based on his needs and conditions with a calm and positive approach.
• Practicing the use of visual aids and other communication tools.
• Assisting with showering, hygiene, and dressing/undressing.

The role also involves being a calm and stable support during other moments in daily life. Your role is to create security and help the client have a meaningful and enjoyable day.

We are looking for you who:

• Have experience working with individuals with autism or intellectual disabilities (meritorious).
• Are sensitive, responsible, positive, and engaged.
• Are secure and can handle stressful situations, such as epileptic seizures (introduction and support provided).

Other information

• Employment type: Hourly employee
• Working hours: Weekdays between 07:00–15:30 and 15:30–21:00. Weekends daytime: 07:30–14:00. Evening: 14:00–21:00.
• Start date: According to agreement.

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
