About the role

We are looking for a reliable and hands-on property maintenance worker for simpler outdoor and property care tasks at Nyköpingshem. This is a summer temporary position from May 18 to August 14. The role is suitable for someone who enjoys outdoor work, thrives on practical tasks, and wants to contribute to a pleasant and well-maintained living environment.

Your responsibilities

• Perform simple outdoor tasks such as mowing lawns, weeding, trimming hedges and bushes, and maintaining flower boxes and plantings.
• Clear and supervise courtyard areas, walkways, and common spaces to create a safe and welcoming environment.
• Carry out minor repairs and maintenance of surfaces and simple building details, including basic carpentry and painting work.
• Maintain trash bins, waste stations, and recycling areas, as well as assist with tidiness and cleanliness around the properties.
• Report and document deviations, needs for major interventions, or defects to the supervisor.
• Communicate respectfully with residents and colleagues, and collaborate with property and operations staff when necessary.
• Follow occupational health and safety routines, ensuring tools and materials are stored safely and neatly.

Your profile

• Practical and service-oriented with an interest in outdoor maintenance and property care.
• Experience in gardening or ground work is an advantage, but basic knowledge is sufficient.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and accustomed to working both independently and in a team.
• Good communication skills in Swedish, both verbal and written.
• Basic computer literacy for registering work and fault reports in systems is an advantage.
• A driver's license (Category B) is an advantage, as some tasks may require moving between areas.
• Adheres to safety regulations and works safely, considering the working environment for yourself and others.
