Our partner is now strengthening its finance team in Borås and is looking for an Accountant who wants to work close to the business, contribute with their expertise, and be a key person in the monthly closing process.

About the Role

As an Accountant, you will become an important part of our partner's central finance function, responsible for the accounting of the Swedish legal entities and supporting Norway and Denmark in tax and reporting matters. You will work broadly within accounting and be given significant responsibility, while simultaneously being part of a supportive team with solid experience and high engagement.

Summarizing, your work will include:

• Monthly closing and ongoing accounting for the Nordic companies
• Participation in cash flow reporting, transfer pricing-related items, and tax
• Improvement work and efficiency of accounting processes
• Other common accounting tasks within the department

You will work daily in the JDE system.

About You

We are looking for you with a post-secondary education in economics and a few years of experience as an Accountant. We see that you are confident in closing processes and used to working independently, preferably with tax and VAT-related items as this is highly meritorious for the role. You do not need to be senior, but you have a stable foundation to stand on and thrive in an environment where quality and structure are important. You are used to navigating different systems daily and have previous experience working in Excel.

• Confident in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing

Experience with US GAAP, transfer pricing, or cash flow is meritorious but not a requirement.

About the Employment

This is a consulting assignment for an initial 6 months via OIO, with the possibility of extension. There is also an ambition that the assignment will transition into an employment with our partner after an initial period as a consultant.

• Scope: Full-time, 40 hours/week, office hours
• Start: As soon as possible/agreed upon with consideration for notice period
• Location: Borås - with the possibility of remote work one day a week after onboarding
• Salary: Fixed monthly salary
