Personal Assistant for a 39-Year-Old Woman in Oxie

Sydassistans is currently looking for a personal assistant for a 39-year-old woman living in Oxie.

We are looking for someone who is calm, flexible, positive, and can contribute to making our client's everyday life meaningful. The position involves working on an as-needed basis, including days, evenings, and weekends.

Due to her disabilities, the client requires 24/7 assistance. She has a developmental disability, autism, and suffers from difficult-to-treat epilepsy.

The client does not use verbal language and communicates by showing and pointing. Therefore, it is important that you can help her interpret and understand various situations.

The role of a personal assistant involves helping with everything from intimate hygiene and daily household routines (such as cleaning, cooking, and shopping) to accompanying her to medical appointments, walks, and other activities.

You should have a genuine interest in helping other people. As a personal assistant, flexibility is key, as the job is about helping another person live their life in their own way. We value that you are empathetic, positive, and reliable.

You will work at agreed-upon times, and there is potential for an expanded role at a later date.

Knowledge of Bosnian is an advantage, but proficiency in Swedish is required.

One of our responsibilities as a service provider is to act as the employer for our clients' personal assistants. We strive to ensure that our clients, despite their disabilities, can live as good and rich a life as possible. Currently, we employ approximately 350 personal assistants.

Sydassistans follows the collective agreement for personal assistants signed by Fremia and Kommunal.
