Hörby Vocational High School is a high school specializing in vocational programs, targeting those who wish to educate themselves within the construction and transport industry or vehicle technology.

We are now looking for full-time mentors who want to work to strengthen our students' opportunities to achieve their goals together with us. As a mentor here, you play a key role in strengthening safety and support for each student. You follow your students' studies and development throughout their time at school and serve as a central link for good collaboration between the school, student, guardians, and other important adults in the student's environment.

Responsibilities

The role of mentor at Hörby Vocational High School includes among other things:

• guiding your students in their studies

• monitoring your students' attendance and academic results

• being responsible for individual mentor meetings and group mentoring sessions

• planning and implementing group-strengthening activities

• being responsible for regular contact with guardians and other parties

• collaborating with the school's teachers, student health services, and management

• participating in activities such as open houses, introduction events, fairs, and similar

To thrive in the role of mentor with us, we believe you should have experience working with young people. You should also have good insight into the school's mission and conditions. Experience working as a coordinator, mentor, or coach in a school or similar setting is advantageous.
