As a Leisure Time Centre Teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on teaching in the leisure time centre in accordance with the curriculum's goals. You create a safe, stimulating, and meaningful environment where students' learning, development, and well-being are at the center.

You work to offer varied teaching that takes advantage of students' interests, strengthens their social skills, and promotes creativity, responsibility, and collaboration. You contribute to creating a common thread between the school day and the leisure time centre, collaborating closely with class teachers and other staff to provide students with a cohesive day.

You have clear and secure leadership within the student group and build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.

You, the applicant, are a certified teacher with the qualification to teach in leisure time centres, or alternatively, you are trained as a leisure time pedagogue. In special cases, it may also be relevant if you are a certified preschool teacher. You have good knowledge of the leisure time centre's mission and regulatory documents and can translate them into practice.

To succeed in the role, you are a secure and clear leader with good pedagogical insight. You have the ability to create structure, build positive relationships, and establish an inclusive learning environment where all students feel seen and involved. Furthermore, you are creative and engaged, with the ability to create stimulating activities through play, creation, and movement. You are flexible, solution-focused, and find it easy to collaborate with colleagues, students, and guardians, while also taking responsibility for developing the operations forward.

Within the primary school system in Borås Municipality, we have a central recruitment process for Leisure Time Centre Teachers. This means that we interview and appoint our positions continuously based on the schools' needs. We update the advertisement continuously with vacant positions.
