The group home offers 6 larger apartments on the ground floor, each with its own entrance and terrace. There are also generous common areas and a private sports hall.

Unika Falerum is located in a secluded part of the community of Falerum in Åtvidaberg Municipality, with direct access to forests and recreational areas.

The building is a converted former school. The layout of the group home means that the apartments are not as close together as in a traditional group home, offering residents a choice regarding social interaction.

We have generous common areas, a private sports hall, a garden room, and a hobby room. Here, there are opportunities for various activities such as sauna, billiards, etc.

Nature is right around the corner, creating great opportunities for varied and adapted activities.

We support our residents with:

• Developing their skills with professional support
• Creating routines to ensure a good and functional daily life
• Planning and preparing meals, contacting networks, authorities, and healthcare providers
• Planning purchases
• Daily engagement based on needs and wishes

As a support assistant, you will work to offer a meaningful and predictable daily life with a lot of structure for those living with us. We work goal-oriented based on assignments, maintaining a professional and salutogenic approach while working within the organization's resources and budget.

We adapt our work based on each individual's conditions and needs, with the individual's personal implementation plan as the starting point. Our goal is for users to become as independent as possible, and we support them in using their own resources to develop and achieve a good quality of life. Our approach involves low-affective interaction and clear, explanatory pedagogy.

• Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Good computer skills, experience with documentation.
• Experience and knowledge of the target group for LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments).
• Upper secondary education such as Child and Youth Program, Care and Nursing Program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogy, social pedagogy, or university education in a relevant field.
• Category B driver's license

• Experience from psychiatry, AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), and low-affective interaction.

Employment Type: Hourly employment
Working Hours: 50% to 100%
Work Schedule: Rolling schedule with work every other weekend.
Start Date: According to agreement.
Collective Agreement: We are bound by the collective agreement of Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Sector E.
