We are currently looking for a senior developer with broad expertise in embedded systems for our office in the beautiful S:t Lars-parken in Lund. Are you our next colleague?

About the Role

In the role of an embedded systems developer, you will be part of our internal development team and work on advanced, hardware-close development. Svep works with product development in several different areas, e.g., consumer, industrial, and medical technology, which means there are great opportunities for you to work in a varied manner and develop with us.

You will work in both larger and smaller teams with driven colleagues from both the hardware and software departments, and you will have close collaboration with project managers and other professions within the organization. In this role, you will participate in meetings with clients and are expected to contribute to knowledge sharing with your colleagues. Regression testing of hardware will occur.

The Person We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone with a strong interest in embedded systems. Inventing new solutions and improving existing ones is something you love, and we appreciate that you have engaged broadly with embedded systems for a longer period. You enjoy collaborating with others, you know you can do a lot but are simultaneously humble towards new perspectives. You have a very good ability to adapt your communication to the recipient as our clients have different levels of technical understanding. In projects, you see what needs to be done, have the ability to adopt an overarching perspective, and can support others in your team to reach the goals. We appreciate that you have a passion for your work.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have the following skills:

• At least 10 years of experience in varied work within the field of embedded systems, alternatively fewer years in the profession if you have continuously developed on your spare time.
• Have worked hardware-close, e.g., power profiling and troubleshooting.
• You possess deep and broad competence rather than specialist knowledge.
• You are self-reliant, curious, and unpretentious.
• You master both Swedish and English without major obstacles.
• Good communicative ability, both verbally and in writing.
• Accustomed to interaction with clients.
• Good knowledge of C.
