Teacher for Student Health and Support – International English School Österåker

In August 2024, we opened the doors to the International English School Österåker, a new school with a clear vision of safety, a conducive learning environment, and high academic results.

Now, we are looking for you to make a real difference.

This is a unique opportunity to help shape and develop our student health team and the work with support measures at the school. We are seeking a teacher who is passionate about helping students who face challenges and need adaptations to succeed in their schooling.

Your Role

You will play a central role in creating an inclusive learning environment where all students are given the right conditions to develop. Your work will involve:

• Supporting students in need of extra adaptations, both individually and in the classroom.
• Identifying and removing barriers in the learning environment.
• Contributing with structure, strategies, and solutions that strengthen student learning.
• Collaborating closely with teachers, mentors, and the student health team.
• Acting as a support and sounding board for colleagues.

Additional Information

The position is 75% with a 6-month probationary period. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the final application deadline.

A valid extract from the criminal record register (belastningsregistret) for work within the school system is mandatory upon employment.
