On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking a Business Manager specializing in Facility Planning. The assignment is full-time and is expected to start on 2026-05-04 and run until 2026-12-31, with the possibility of extension.

This role suits you if you have a strong business perspective, a good understanding of facility and lease issues, and experience working within or towards the public sector.

About the assignment

The assignment focuses on facility planning and management of lease agreements, with a primary focus on facilities such as depots. In this role, you are responsible for analyzing the organization's facility needs, planning and optimizing facility utilization, and ensuring cost-effective facility solutions.

The work is both strategic and operational and covers both internal and external facilities. You ensure that the organization has the right facilities at the right time, in the right scope, and at the right cost.

Examples of tasks include:

• Development and further refinement of facility needs analyses and functional programs

• Planning and follow-up of facility utilization

• Budgeting and financial follow-up related to facilities

• Negotiation, signing, and administration of lease agreements

• Ongoing dialogue with landlords and internal clients

• Coordination with technical management, operations, and project organizations regarding adaptations, renovations, and investments

• Contributing to the development of working methods, processes, and decision-making support within facility planning

You have a clear client responsibility towards the organization and ensure that facility issues are handled professionally, commercially, and in line with applicable guidelines and goals.

About you

Mandatory requirements

• Post-secondary education, minimum vocational college (KY/YH), with a focus on real estate, economics, urban planning, or construction (degree certificate must be available)

• Experience in developing functional programs or facility needs plans in at least two projects for use by the public sector

• Completed course in lease law

• Experience in lease negotiations for the public sector in at least three projects

Merits

• Experience from the public sector or larger organizations

• At least 3 years of experience in administrative tasks related to facility planning and preparation of decision-making support

• Experience in strategic and long-term work with planning and development of facility needs and related processes
