ABOUT THE POSITION

We at Kura Omsorg are seeking several dedicated personal assistants for a cheerful boy in Skinnskatteberg. We are looking for individuals interested in part-time work, hourly substitute positions, or summer substitute roles.

Work shifts are scheduled on both weekdays and weekends. Start date is by agreement, but we prefer that you can begin the introduction process as soon as possible.

Working hours are typically scheduled as follows:

• 14:00 - 07:45 weekdays, with overnight waiting time

• 07:45 - 16:00 weekends

• 07:45 - 19:45 weekends

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a 7-year-old boy with Down syndrome and a gastrostomy. As a personal assistant, you will play a central role in his daily life, supporting him in reaching his full potential. Your tasks will include assistance with various aids and all daily activities, such as personal hygiene and acting as a pedagogical support.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with collective agreements.

Due to the fact that the job may involve working alone, night work, and tasks that according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2012:3) cannot be performed by minors, you must be 18 years of age to work as a personal assistant.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18 years of age, you are required to present an extract from the criminal register. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply meaning that the register check will cover both the criminal register and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Please note that processing times may vary, so orders should be made well in advance.
