On behalf of Fortnox, we are now recruiting several AML Investigators for a long-term assignment with immediate start. We are looking for both full-time consultants and students with the possibility to work part-time (and full-time during the summer). In the role of AML Investigator, you will play a central role in Fortnox's work to prevent financial crime. You will work to analyze complex transaction data and customer information to ensure good regulatory compliance.
This is a consultancy assignment where you will be employed by Academic Work and work on behalf of Fortnox. We are looking for someone who can start immediately and views the assignment in the long term. You will be based at the office in Malmö, where the work will initially be performed on-site only.

Responsibilities
In the role of AML Investigator, you are part of the operational AML work and focus on ensuring customer onboarding and the ongoing monitoring of customers and their behavior. Main tasks central to the assignment include:
- Perform transaction monitoring, manage alerts, and investigate suspicious activities related to money laundering and terrorist financing
- Analyze suspicious activities and high-risk customers (incl. PEPs and sanctions lists) and conduct risk assessments
- Be responsible for Customer Due Diligence (KYC) processes, onboarding of new customers, and ongoing customer contact for information gathering
- Document and compile investigations and prepare material for internal reporting
- Contribute to the development and improvement of internal AML processes and routines
Requirements
- Have at least 6–12 months of previous experience with AML work related to corporate customers
- Have very good knowledge of Swedish and English
- Have good knowledge of the Money Laundering Act and other relevant regulations
- (For the part-time role): Have ongoing academic studies in economics, law, or similar, expected to continue for at least 1 year
