Coop Värnhem is looking for a new Sales Associate to join our wonderful team!

Working as a Sales Associate at Coop is a highly varied job. You will perform cashier duties, sales, picking goods, merchandising, ordering, and much, much more.

Your responsibilities as a Sales Associate include:

• Ensuring shelves are always fronted and well-stocked.
• Ensuring all products have the correct prices.
• Handling customer complaints and feedback professionally according to guidelines.
• Keeping the store clean and attractive.

This is a permanent part-time position, 5 hours per week. Start date is negotiable. A probationary period applies. Your working hours may vary as we are open when our customers want to shop, from morning to evening, Monday to Sunday.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience and competence in retail sales (merit).
• Has experience and competence in service roles (merit).
• Is multilingual and has experience/interest in different cultures (merit).

Most importantly, we want you to be genuinely interested in food, service, and sales. You should enjoy working in a group and actively contribute to creating a good working climate. We want you to have good initiative, positive energy that is contagious, see the customer's needs, and with pride and joy deliver the industry's best customer service. You are driven by challenges, see opportunities, and have a willingness to constantly develop and streamline both the business and yourself. We won't hide the fact that it can be a stressful job at times, so it is important that you enjoy working at a fast pace and can maintain your calm and smile even in stressful situations. Together with your colleagues, you will be the face of the store, and for you, the customer is always number one.
