I am a 23-year-old social guy who loves to have fun. I am looking for an initiative-taking, creative, and reliable hourly assistant!

This is me:

• I live with my family in Älvsjö – it is easy to get here by commuter train and a short bus ride.
• I have many interests – including bowling, movies, concerts, swimming, meeting friends, and playing the guitar.
• On weekdays, I attend a daily activity program where I make music and engage in interest-based political issues.
• I need support with most things in daily life – for example, with communication, eating, mobility, and driving my power wheelchair.
• I have epilepsy – but it does not stop me from living an active life! If you are resourceful and can think on your feet, we will always find solutions!

Is this you?

• You are completely non-smoking (super important!)
• You like variety and are resourceful.
• You are thorough and good at communicating.
• You like to be active and have fun – just like me!
• Do you have experience with epilepsy? Great – but not a requirement!
• You are flexible and can adapt when plans change without getting stressed.
• You do not need previous experience as a personal assistant – the most important thing is that we click!

Can you help me with:

• Transportation, driving my power wheelchair, and supporting daily routines such as meals and personal care.
• Being an important part of my life and making my daily life work my way – I need help with most things to live my life the way I want!
• Living the active and social life I want by coming up with ideas, planning, and communicating to stay in touch with friends and family.

The position I can offer right now is as needed, with the possibility of fixed weekend shifts. You should be able to work at least every other weekend. There will also be weekday shifts if someone in the team is away. My assistants usually work 13-hour shifts, so you need to be able to work both day and evening.

With me, you will receive a long and comprehensive introduction from a skilled assistant who knows me well – we both need to feel safe before we set off on adventures together!
