We are now seeking experienced HR specialists who want to work closely with operations within our detention facility activities.

The Migration Agency's HR department consists of approximately 80 employees distributed across several units with different focuses. Within the HR Support unit, we work closely with the operations and provide operational, advisory, and consultative support to managers in the organization.

We are now expanding and strengthening our team with HR specialists who want to work closely with managers in the detention facility activities – in a daily routine characterized by a high pace, complex issues, and a need for quick, correct decisions.

What does an HR Specialist do in the HR Support unit?

As an operationally close HR specialist, you have a clearly operational role. You work closely with several managers and are their obvious HR support in their daily work. The role involves that you:

• provide hands-on support in labor law and personnel-related issues
• support managers in rapid assessments and decisions in an activity that often changes and where situations can arise with short notice
• work on issues concerning labor law, rehabilitation, misconduct, and work environment
• ensure correct application of agreements, legislation, and internal regulations
• work consultatively and coachingly to strengthen managers' security in their employer role

You collaborate closely with colleagues within HR and participate in common HR processes such as salary revision, restructuring, and targeted measures for managers' competence development.

The work involves travel, as parts of the assignment are carried out on-site at our detention facilities.

Who are you?

You are confident in your HR competence and thrive in a role where you need to act, prioritize, and make professional assessments in real-time. You are solution-oriented, communicative, and find it easy to build trusting relationships, even in situations that are complex or under pressure. Furthermore, you combine a sensitive and supportive approach with clarity and integrity. You are able to handle several parallel cases without compromising on quality, legal security, or structure. You have good judgment and work with high security and confidentiality awareness.

We are looking for someone who has

• Academic education of at least 120 credits in HR, or other academic education combined with work experience that the employer considers equivalent
• Several years of experience working independently and broadly in a consultative HR specialist role or equivalent
• Several years of experience working with rehabilitation and misconduct cases
• Very good knowledge of labor law
• Very good communication skills in speech and writing in Swedish

It is an advantage if you have

• Experience of HR work in 24/7 operations
• Experience of HR work in the public sector
• Experience of HR work in state administration

Employment type: Permanent employment with probation period

Location: Norrköping or Sundbyberg. Travel to our detention facilities occurs

Start date: As soon as possible by agreement
