Linköping District Court, including the Rent and Tenancy Board, is a medium-sized court with approximately 70 employees. The court's jurisdiction covers parts of Östergötland County: Linköping, Mjölby, Motala, Boxholm, Vadstena, Ydre, Åtvidaberg, and Ödeshög municipalities.
The court is organized into three departments: two adjudicating departments and one administrative department. The adjudicating departments are each led by a Chief Judge (Chefsrådman), with a Deputy Chief Judge and a Case Manager directly subordinate to the Chief Judge in each department. The administrative department is led by the Administrative Director.
The court fully meets the government's operational goals, maintains good balances, and manages an appropriate caseload. We are co-located with the Administrative Court at the Garrison area in Linköping.

We now offer you the opportunity to work as an Acting Judge (tf Rådman) at Linköping District Court. The work is stimulating and responsible. You will play a central role in the court's adjudicating activities, with responsibility for ensuring that cases are handled and decided in a legally secure and efficient manner.
Qualifications
Applicants must meet the requirements set out in Chapter 4, Section 1 of the Code of Judicial Procedure. You must be or have been a regular judge, assessor, acting assessor, or have equivalent experience of qualified legal work.
In addition to being a skilled lawyer, you must be open, flexible, and have a high work capacity. You are expected to be proactive in both case handling and the development and efficiency work carried out at the court. We seek someone with well-developed collaboration skills who contributes to a positive work environment, has an interest and aptitude for this, and possesses excellent communication skills.
The court emphasizes the importance of active employee participation with a focus on responsibility, engagement, and involvement. The court is currently working to develop its operations with a focus on creating an efficient and sustainable organization.

The position is a fixed-term employment for one year.
