Linköping Cathedral Parish – a parish that makes a difference.

At Linköping Cathedral Parish, people with deep expertise in theology, diaconal work, pedagogy, music, administration, and service work together. Between and within each professional group, there is room for knowledge exchange, reflection, laughter, and good conversations. Our goal is to make the best use of each other's resources, work together, and continuously develop based on our vision "For the world to live". The parish's goal is to contribute to a good society and strengthen church traditions, with a special focus on baptism and confirmation. The Cathedral Parish consists of nine parishes. We celebrate services in 11 churches where voluntary staff contribute significantly to a vibrant parish life. There are more than 200 employed staff members with a joint administration providing professional support with relevant expertise in finance, HR, funeral and property matters, cleaning, communication, and IT.

We are now looking for an administrator who wants to support our parishes and church administration!

About the position

In this role as an administrator, you will work broadly with various administrative tasks. The position includes administrative support for two of our parishes as well as tasks within our Communication and Service unit, which is part of the church administration.

The role includes, among other things, the following tasks:

  • Administrative support for parish activities and parish councils
  • Answering the telephone
  • Managing the parishes' diary (filing system)
  • Responsible for booking venues and activities
  • Managing the parishes' website
  • Handling the parishes' mail and email
  • Some management of our Facebook accounts
  • Some information work, e.g., posters

The position includes evening work a few times per term.

About you

We prefer that you have:

  • Upper secondary education
  • Several years of documented experience in administrative work
  • Good knowledge of the Office package
  • Good administrative and organizational skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing

As a person, we see that you are responsible, independent, and driven. You find it easy to take initiative and can adapt to new circumstances. You are meticulous, service-oriented, and solution-focused. It is also important that you find it easy to collaborate with others and appreciate teamwork.

Since the work involves extensive social contacts, both within and outside our organization, great importance will be attached to your personal qualities.

Location

Your organizational affiliation will be the Communication and Service unit, but your work will be located at three different places: two different parishes and Ågatan 40, where the church administration has its office.

By agreement.
