The Primary Care Area South consists of Teg, Hörnefors, and Nordmaling Health Centers. This position is located at Teg Health Center.
One of our colleagues is moving on to new challenges, and we are now seeking a replacement. We are looking for someone who wants to work in a stable area in central Umeå. Our catchment area has a mixed population from both city and countryside, with approximately 17,800 registered patients. We have good staffing across all professional categories at the health center. We strive to maintain a non-hierarchical environment because we know that everyone makes an important contribution to ensuring that people registered with us experience high-quality care and advice. We have strong team cohesion and an engaged social committee that ensures we have fun even outside working hours.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a medical secretary with us, you provide important services and enable initiatives that impact many.
The role of a medical secretary with us is varied and includes, among other things, medical documentation, reception duties, appointment scheduling, mail handling, telephone service to patients and other healthcare units, as well as administrative and development work. You will work in close collaboration with doctors, other secretaries, and colleagues. You are offered a varied job where you become an important part of our operations and can make a difference.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are an educated medical secretary or healthcare administrator. Education in medical documentation is a requirement. If you are currently studying to become a medical secretary and will graduate in the spring of 2026, you are also welcome to apply.
We further wish that you:
- enjoy working in an environment with varying tasks and fluctuating intensity.
- have good collaboration skills, a positive attitude, are flexible, and service-oriented.
- have the ability to work both independently and in a group.
- are interested in development opportunities and want to be involved in our continuous improvement work.
It is an asset if you have professional experience from primary care and are familiar with working in the Cosmic system.
