As an accountant at Areal, you are responsible for ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial information, which is crucial for our clients' and our own business management. You will work broadly with:

• Ongoing bookkeeping, account reconciliations, accruals
• Monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Annual reports and income tax returns
• VAT and tax declarations
• Contact with auditors, authorities, and internal stakeholders
• Development of efficient financial routines and processes

You will primarily work in Fortnox and Capego as well as in Excel and some additional standard programs for both payroll and ongoing accounting.

• Fixed monthly salary according to Unionen's collective agreement

• Business travel may occur, driver's license and own car required (travel compensation applies)

We are looking for someone who has:

• Relevant post-secondary education in finance (YH or university)
• At least 2–3 years of experience in qualified accounting work
• Good knowledge of K1/K2/K3, Fortnox, and Excel, and preferably experience with Capego.
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

As a person, you are structured, responsible, and self-driven. You have analytical thinking and an eye for both details and the big picture. You are communicative, collaborative, and have a humble yet clear demeanor. Creating trust and building good customer relationships comes naturally to you, even when it requires sharpness and clarity.

Do you have experience from an accounting firm or knowledge of agriculture and forestry? That is a merit, but most importantly, you have a genuine interest in the industry and the people we work with.
