Your role as Head of Bank & Pension

In your role as Head of Bank & Pension, you have overall responsibility for strategically leading and developing our banking and pension business, as well as further developing and streamlining our comprehensive offering to private, corporate, and agricultural customers. With a focus on profitability, customer value, regulatory compliance, and sustainable growth, you ensure that the operations are competitive, innovative, and adapted to future demands.

By inspiring and engaging the organization, you drive strategic change and business development initiatives, develop risk management, and strengthen the customer experience, which collectively contributes to further strengthening the company's market position.

You will be supported by over 60 employees, five of whom report directly to you. You are part of the executive team as one of three business unit heads. The position is based in Umeå, and in close collaboration with the CEO, the executive team, and the board, you will develop and implement the company's long-term banking and pension strategy.

Who are we looking for?

You hold a relevant university degree and have several years of experience in a leading position within banking, including responsibility for results and budget. With solid experience in leading large teams in a complex operation, you have the ability to create structure, clear direction, and results in a daily routine characterized by a high pace and many challenges. Experience in corporate banking is a requirement. You have good knowledge of lending, regulations, and financial products, as well as documented experience in change management that has led to clear, positive results. You express yourself fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.

As a leader, you are strategic and business-driven, with the ability to identify business opportunities and translate strategies into concrete results. You take responsibility, drive improvements, and create engagement in change. You are present and clear in your leadership – you set direction, prioritize, and follow up. You are communicative and relationship-building, with the ability to build networks and create trust at all levels. With documented experience in leading through others, you actively work to coach and develop both leaders and employees towards common goals.
