About the Employment

You are offered two permanent part-time positions in a profitable and rapidly growing company. The positions are located at Arken Zoo's store in Avion, Umeå.

- The positions are part-time, 10-20 hours/week. The positions start with a 6-month probationary period.

- Employment contract and salary according to the Handels collective agreement.

- Working hours, day, evening, and weekend according to schedule.

- Start date 2026-05-15

Job Responsibilities

The position includes, among other things:

- Providing the best customer service every time you work and always helping the customer make the right product choice.

- Being a driven salesperson who loves meeting customers.

- Store maintenance, upkeep, unpacking, restocking, and sales.

- Nail trimming for dogs, cats, and small animals

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a passion for pets, especially dogs and cats. You should be a pronounced service person and have some experience in retail work and sales within the retail or grocery sector.

Animal care education from high school, zoos, etc. is a merit but not a requirement.
