As a strategic buyer with us , you will have a driving and business-critical role where you proactively develop and ensure competitive, sustainable, and robust supplier strategies for our operations. You will become a central partner to both production and the global purchasing organization, where your experience and analytical skills contribute to strengthening our purchasing processes, optimizing cost structures, and creating long-term value.

In this role, you will work with a clear strategic focus and be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing category strategies that support the company's overall business goals

  • Identifying, qualifying, and developing both existing and new suppliers globally and locally

  • Leading negotiations and ensuring contracts that create competitive advantages over time

  • Driving cost optimization initiatives, risk reduction, and supplier development programs

  • Managing parallel projects and acting as a requirement setter in cross-functional teams

  • Collaborating closely with production, logistics, quality, R&D, and the group's global purchasing organization to secure efficient and sustainable supply chains

  • Contributing to the development of purchasing processes, governance, and working methods within the function

The role offers significant scope for action and the opportunity to influence both business and structure – while you get to work in an international context with a clear mandate. The role is based in Brännland, where you will be part of an engaged team of 3 buyers who together drive development and improve our processes.

Who are you?

We are looking for an experienced and business-driven strategic buyer with a good ability to build relationships, drive development, and take responsibility for the whole. You have an analytical approach and a strong strategic ability, while you enjoy working closely with the business and translating strategy into results.

We would like you to have:

  • A degree in engineering, economics, or equivalent

  • Solid experience in strategic purchasing, preferably from manufacturing industry or similar complex environments

  • Experience in leading negotiations, developing suppliers, and driving structured cost initiatives

  • Strong ability to analyze market and cost structures and translate insights into concrete strategies

  • Experience working internationally and collaborating across organizational and cultural boundaries

  • Very good communication skills in Swedish and English
