Do you want to work on issues that truly affect people's quality of life and right to support? We are now looking for an engaged, bold, and structured employee who wants to contribute to a secure and high-quality exercise of authority within the Act on Support and Service for Certain Persons with Functional Impairments (LSS).

About the assignment

As a support coordinator within LSS, you will work with the entire authority process, from application and investigation to decision and follow-up. Your work is based on current legislation, case law, and our internal routines. You will have close collaboration with colleagues, other authorities, and the individual's network, always with a focus on legal security, participation, and respect for the individual's needs.

The work requires good structure, independence, and the ability to make well-founded decisions. At the same time, you need to be curious, bold, and have a genuine commitment to creating conditions for people to live an independent life.

Documentation in our work is done in the operational system Life Care and in Mina Planer, and we use the investigation method IBIC, where the individual's own resources and needs are a central starting point.

Qualifications and characteristics

We are looking for you who:

  • Have a degree in social work or another equivalent higher education that the employer assesses as approved.
  • Have good knowledge of the exercise of authority and/or experience within LSS legislation.
  • Have experience of working with people with disabilities.
  • Are structured, analytical, and confident.
  • Have the ability to build good relationships and collaborate with both colleagues and internal/external actors.
  • Are engaged and bold; you dare to stand by your assessments and decisions even in complex situations.
  • It is desirable that you have a B driver's license as travel may occur in the position.
